Sumona Chakraborty On The Kapil Sharma Show: The Kapil Sharma Show needs no introduction. This show has not only broken TRP records but has been enthralling the audience for a long time. Sumona Chakraborty, an important part of Kapil Sharma’s team, has said big things about her experience during an interview. Actually, Sumona never liked Kapil’s joke on her. Rather, she used to get disturbed when people made fun of her lips and face.

Sumona does not like Kapil’s joke
Although Kapil Sharma pulls every character during the show, Sumona doesn’t like being made fun of for her lips and mouth. In fact, Sumona plays the role of Kapil Sharma’s wife in the show. Talking about this during an interview, Sumona Chakraborty told that once Kapil forgot his lines during the shooting and he started making fun of Sumona’s lips and mouth. This made her very upset. However, later Archana Puran Singh had explained a lot to Sumona about this.

I feel bad when Kapil used to make fun of my face

Talking about this, Sumona said that the initial days were very challenging and I used to face a lot of trouble. I remember well that Kapil made fun of my face in our very first show. However, this attempt did not work and no one laughed at Kapil’s joke. But later once again Kapil did the same and people got good response and then he started doing this again and again. He was happy but I was feeling very bad about it.

Share heart with Archana Puran Singh

Regarding her experience, Sumona says that later one day Archana Puran Singh talked to me about this. She sat with me and she asked me why are you upset. I told him my problem and said that I am not a standup comedian, it is not so easy for me to make fun of someone. If I tell a joke to someone, hardly anyone laughs.

People used to question when joking
After this Archana explained a lot to me and said that if you learn to laugh at yourself then you will never feel humiliated. Leave the matter of lips or mouth, you have something that women pay money to get. Sumona told that she was very naive and used to be conscious about applying lipstick. Sumona says that when she was made fun of, many people used to ask how you are able to be a part of this show.
