The Philadelphia Eagles have yet to formally refuse to visit the White House after the Super Bowl victory, as the invitation has not been extended.

Previous reports suggest that the Eagles, who defeated Kansas City chief in the Super Bowl, will not visit the White House. However, no official invitation has been made after a 40-22 victory that ended the hopes of the three-peat Chiefs.

White House sources confirmed to TMZ that the Eagles have no plans to visit at this time. The Eagles were previously offered a White House visit after winning the 2018 Super Bowl during Donald Trump’s presidency, but plans were cancelled after several players expressed their opposition.

Eagles’ Star Lane Johnson expressed openness for this visit and left the decision to vote on the team. Owner Jeffrey Lurie responded vaguely when asked about a potential visit before the Super Bowl. Last year, the Kansas City chief visited President Joe Biden.
