Taking a trip down memory lane, the actors shared their experiences of working with Bhansali. Everyone laughed heartily at host Kapil Sharma’s one-liners, but Sonakshi responded with much funnier responses.
When Kapil brings up the subject wedding Sonakshi responded candidly to Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani asking for information about Sonakshi’s upcoming wedding. “Jale par namak chidak rahe ho,” he said, adding that he “desperately” wanted to get married.
He further added, “We have finished shooting Heeramandi and I am still not married. Sharmin also got married.” Manisha nodded quickly and said, “And Richa got married and got pregnant.”
Richa Chadha then jokingly continued, “It was a good workout for me. My clothes weighed 30 kilos. Later, when I wore my wedding clothes, I felt they weighed nothing. I could easily jump around and play. It felt very light.”
For those who don’t know, Sharmin Segal and Aman Mehta exchanged vows in November 2023. Bhansali’s niece Sharmin played Mallikjaan’s daughter Alamzeb in the serial ‘Heeramandi’. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal got legally married in 2020 but celebrated their marriage in 2022. The couple said they are expecting their first child in February 2024.
