When former Bollywood couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were in a relationship, there was a dispute between them. Both of them worked together in many films like ‘Fida’, ’36 China Town’ and ‘Jab We Met’. During their first collaboration ‘Fidaa’, Shahid and Kareena started dating each other. She starred opposite Fardeen Khan in the 2004 film. Although the film failed to make a mark at the box office, it managed to make headlines due to Kareena and Fardeen’s explosive kissing scene and memorable music album. Due to these intimate scenes, Shahid also had a major clash with Fardeen and it became the talk of the town at that time.

There was a rift between Shahid and Fardeen during the shooting of ‘Fidaa’ as Fardeen was unhappy with filming bold scenes with his then girlfriend Kareena. Shahid reportedly became uncomfortable and insecure with the hot scene between Kareena and Fardeen. During the release of the film, everything seemed normal between the male actors but after a few years, Fardeen Khan spoke openly about his rift with Shahid. He admitted that they were not best friends and did not get along with each other. But this was not a big fight. Fardeen said that he had heard Shahid saying bad things about him which was quite immature. She had some issues and he told her to stop talking about him.

Later, Shahid Kapoor also raised the same issue during his appearance on ‘Koffee with Karan’. He had said, “I personally have no problem with him.” And if he had an issue, he could have just called and talked about it, but he chose to talk about it in print.
