Pushpa 2 Box Office Report: Allu Arjun’s Film Dethrones Prabhas’ Baahubali 2; becomes the highest grossing film in India

Pushpa 2 Box Office Report: It’s been over a month since Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule was released in theaters and the film continues to break records. Thanks to the worldwide collection ₹1831 crore gross and ₹Collections in India amounted to 1438 crores. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film dethroned S.S. Rajamouli’s “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” as the highest-grossing film in India. Box office collection report for Pushpa 2: The Rule

The Pushpa team announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the film has collected ₹1831 crores in gross receipts worldwide in 32 days. “#Pushpa2TheRule is now an INDUSTRIAL HIT in Indian Cinema with the HIGHEST COLLECTION FOR INDIA’S MOVIES. BLOCKBUSTER WILDFIRE crosses 1831 crores in 32 days worldwide,” they wrote while announcing the news.

With this, Pushpa 2: Rule has officially broken the position held by Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in lead roles for 8 years.

According to Satsnilk, Pushpa 2 has started working ₹1438 crores gross in India in 32 days as Baahubali 2 earns ₹1416.9 crore gross. He collected more than ₹1810 core worldwide. India’s top-grossing film Dangal, starring Aamir Khan, also made most of its money abroad. ₹535 crores gross in India. However, Dangal collected more ₹2000 crore worldwide and whether Pushpa 2 can break this record remains to be seen.

About the film “Pushpa 2: The Rule”

Pushpa 2: The Rule was released in theaters on December 5 and had a paid premiere on December 4. In just 32 days, it surpassed Baahubali 2 in total earnings. It is the sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, which was a moderate success at the box office due to the pandemic. Pushpa 3: Rampage was also announced at the end of Pushpa 2, but the film is not scheduled to shoot anytime soon.
