New details have been revealed regarding the sudden death of actress Michel Tratchenberg.
According to TMZ, Trachtenberg’s mother, Lana, tragically discovered Michelle’s body in a bed in her Manhattan apartment on Wednesday morning, months after Michelle’s liver transplant.
Law enforcement sources revealed that Lana discovered Michelle was not responding and was called authorities, but paramedics pronounced Michelle dead on the scene.
Lana finally saw Michelle alive at 10pm on Tuesday, and despite her health challenges, she seemed to be in good health. Michelle, known for her role in “Gossip Girl,” had been out with friends a few days ago.
Sources confirmed that Michelle had recently undergone a liver transplant, which led to her liver and thyroid complications. TMZ previously reported that the body may have refused to have the implant, which could contribute to her death.
Michelle has defended her frail appearance in recent months, saying she is “happy and healthy.” Her family demanded privacy during this difficult time.
