Born in New York City on October 11, 1985, Trachtenberg appeared in commercials at the age of just three, beginning his acting career in the early days. She later recognized her role in Nickelodeon’s “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” after playing a recurring role in Melod Opera “All My Children.”
Trachtenberg was nominated for Daytime Emmy for his performance in the Discovery Children’s series “Truth or Scare.”
Her breakout role came in 1996 when she starred as Harriet M. Welsh in “Harriet the Spy.” She joined the cast of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” as Buffy’s sister, Dawn Summers in 2000, further solidifying her place in pop culture.
Other notable roles included “Eurotrip,” “Ice Princess,” and “Gossip Girl,” where she portrayed Seming Georgina Sparks. Trachtenberg continued to work on television and made guest appearances on shows such as “House,” “Weeds,” and “Sleepy Hollow.”
