DAMMAM: Movie fans in the Middle East are flocking to see director Christopher Nolan’s long-awaited film “Oppenheimer,” which has already broken a 2023 record for advance ticket sales in Saudi Arabia, according to the country’s major cinema chains. Advanced bookings began last week, and after just six days, the film has become the biggest pre-release seller in the country this year, the kingdom’s largest operator has confirmed. Moviegoers in the kingdom spoke to Arab News after watching the film on July 20 when it was shown across the GCC.
