LOS ANGELES: With Tom Cruise starring “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1” being released through Gulf cinemas on Thursday, Arab News caught up with the director and cast to find out more about the new film. Some scenes for the film were shot in the Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi and the Midfield Lounge in the airport of the UAE capital – the crew and actors were filmed in the emirate for approximately two weeks in 2021 with the support of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and other local production partners, including twofour54 Abu Dhabi.
