Kriti Sanon shared screen space with children Sushant Singh Rajput first time inraabta‘. Although the audience appreciated the on-screen chemistry, the film failed at the box office.
In an interview to Film Companion, Kriti said that she refrained from labeling ‘Raabta’ as a failure. Instead, he sees this as a significant growth opportunity in his acting journey. The film, his third Indian film, featured complex characters and gave him the chance to delve into layered roles and immerse himself in extensive preparation for the first time.

He also shared that this experience taught him various skills such as horseback riding, overcoming his fear of underwater landscapes, and chocolate making. Kriti highlighted how her approach to the character evolved and grew throughout the process, leading to dialogues being delivered in a more organic and authentic way.
