During an interview, actress Kareena Kapoor talked about her relationship with her husband Saif Ali Khan. The host asked Kareena about the secret idea behind their marriage. Responding to this, the actress said that couples should always be around each other. In his words:
“The most important thing is that we love being with each other and around each other. It is very important. There is no secret formula for what ticks all the boxes in a relationship or marriage. Of course the most important thing is love, but we like each other.”
Apart from this, Kareena revealed how much love both she and Saif have for each other. Talking about her love life, Kareena said that earlier she and her husband were best friends, travel partners and gossip confidants. He said:
“He always says that we should like each other a lot. We like being around each other, we like talking to each other, spending time together, working together. To me, he is my favorite person in the world. I wouldn’t really want to be with friends or guys or anything because we like each other and we like being together. “I guess that’s the way it goes.”
Kareena misses working in films with Saif Ali Khan
During the same conversation, the actress mentioned that she misses working with her actor-husband Saif Ali Khan on many films. For those who don’t know, Kareena and Saif have worked together in many films including ‘Tashan’, ‘Kurbaan’ and others.
The actress also admitted to collaborating with her husband in upcoming film projects. However, Kareena mentioned how Saif is conscious and wants the best for each other. This is the reason why Saif does not allow his wife Kareena to work with him. Kareena shared:
“I miss working with him and doing films with him. I would love to do that because I think he’s an amazing actor, and I think his strength as a performer has grown so much. That’s why I would love to do a film with him. But he said, ‘I don’t know whether we can work together or not.’ Because I think he realizes that we are married. He’s like, ‘I don’t know; I have to be the best in the film, but I love you so much, I want you to be the best. So, I have to convince him.”
