throughout the duration military service in the south Korean ArmyJimin, known as a singer-songwriter and a member of the world-famous boy band BTS, recently spoke about the challenges and repercussions of military life. Jimin, who enlisted with fellow BTS member Jungkook on December 12, 2023, spent a significant amount of time in training and gained new knowledge that led him to reflect on his relationships outside of the military.

In an intimate moment shared with his relatives friend and fellow artist Ha Sung-woon’s speech, Jimin expressed his regret that Sung-woon was not able to maintain closer contact during his military service.Sung-woon is a popular figure in the Korean music industry and a former member of the boy band I Want SomeoneIn a recent interview in the July 2024 issue of GQ Korea, he revealed that Jimin reached out to him during his military service.
During their conversation, Sung-woon recalled Jimin’s apology and explained: “One time, Jimin, who was in the military, called me and said he was sorry. I asked him, ‘Why are you sad?’ I asked. and he laughed because I knew exactly how he felt. He said, ‘Hyung, I played around a lot when you were in the military… I’m so sorry I didn’t call you…'” Sung-woon empathized with Jimin’s realization and humorously pointed out the difficulties of military life, saying: “Hey, see? Right? Now you can feel how hard it is for me, right? But I’m leaving now!”

30-year-old Sung-woon completed his military service as a corporal on April 23, 2024, after enlisting in the military on October 24, 2022. Meanwhile, Jimin continues his service in anticipation of his discharge in June next year.
