A source told InTouch: “JLo has felt threatened by Jen Garner for almost her entire marriage. The way Ben came to her for advice every time they fought drove her crazy.” The insider said Affleck is “spending time with Jen and their kids” because it’s “much more comfortable than trying to deal with a blended family.” It’s so easy for him with her, there’s no tension, no pressure, he can be completely himself.”

While Affleck exchanged gifts with the On The Floor singer, he spent the holiday season with Greiner and their children. The former couple, who split in 2015, were also spotted together on Thanksgiving as they helped distribute food at the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles, California.

A source told People magazine: “Jen and Ben were together for Christmas. It’s all for the kids. Jen grew up surrounded by her family during the holidays, and she wants the same for her kids,” according to OK! Magazine.

Affleck is trying to take care of his children

The Batman actor is coping with his divorce from Lopez and is trying to be there for his kids as much as possible. Another source told Star: “Now that Ben is getting back into his old routine, he’s doing well. Spending time with Jen Garner and the kids over the holidays helped him feel like everything was right in his world again.”

What’s more, Garner seems happy that Affleck is finally moving on from Lopez. Another source told the Daily Mail: “Jen doesn’t want to be with JLo anymore unless it’s about the kids. Her friends think she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo fix her marriage to Ben. Especially since Jen felt opposed to J.Lo at times during their own marriage.
