Bollywood actor Kanal Khemo has recently shared bitter memories of his childhood. Kanal mentioned the horrific events in Srinagar, Kashmir until the age of 6 years, which still has a mark on his mind.
Kashmir’s tense atmosphere
Kanal Khemu told the media that he lived in Srinagar at the age of 6, where the explosions and stones were part of everyday life. He said, “From a 6 -year -old child’s point of view, this was all weird. I can’t even forget the beautiful memories of Srinagar, such as going to the lake with my school, family, or walking to Pahalgam. But then I looked at the concern of my family. “
The fear of the blasts
Kanal said he was often confused that a loud voice was about to explode a gas cylinder or bomb. He said, “Occasionally, it used to be that in the evening, house lights were not burned, because there was a danger that the stones could come home.” At that time it was announced that houses should not be light after the evening. “
The horrible experience of the bombing
Kanal recalled his most horrific experience, saying that there was a bomb under his house while he was playing cards with his cousin. He said, “We were playing a game called” Blaf “that suddenly there was a loud explosion and I jumped away. Nothing was heard, just smoke and broken glasses were visible. It was all like the scene of a movie. I saw myself falling upside down and then it was dark everywhere. Subsequent memories are just that I came to consciousness at some point. “
Stones and the arrival of the army
The Canal also mentioned the moments when the stones suddenly started and the army reached the area. He said, “It was also in Nawakdal that the stones started and then the army would come. Me and my cousin were peeking through the window, but they did not understand what was happening. “
Kanal said that even after coming to Mumbai, he had no idea that he would not return to Kashmir again. He said, “Our parents did a wonderful job to save us from this situation, but at the age of 6 or 7 you must listen to the surroundings.”
Kanal admitted that all this was unpleasant in childhood, so he never tried to find out what was happening in Kashmir Valley. He said, “I did not ask much about this topic, because whenever big people talk about it, the environment is sad. Maybe that’s why I built a wall inside myself not to fall into these questions. “
Kanal Khemu started his career in Bollywood as a child actor and later won as a hero. His famous films include ‘Raja Bharati’, ‘Cleug’, ‘Traffic Signal’, ‘Gol Mall 3’, ‘Blood Money’, ‘Gol Mall Again’ and ‘Loot Case’. He was last seen in the movie ‘Madgaon Express’.
Kanal Khemo’s revelations reflect on how the tense environment of Kashmir has affected people’s lives.
