In an interview with Film Companion, the actor said: “I have an idea where cinema is these days. It bothers me that violence is glorified, fetishized and sexualised. There is one way to portray violence. This is not it.” “Violence and action is a matter of morality… it’s a language in cinema, but when we convey it, when we portray it in films, there’s a way of doing it where you feel the weight of it.”

Khan also revealed that Abbas Tirewala, who directed ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’, was talking about a spy drama he was proposing. So he was referring to his own role in the series, where his character is a spy, a man of action, and there’s a lot of violence in the series.
Actually, Imran has not watched ‘Animal’ yet. He admitted that he hasn’t watched too many Hindi films in the last few years because of a conscious detachment from the film business. The actor said that he was not qualified to talk about ‘Animal’ because he had not watched the movie yet.
Imran was last seen in the 2008 movie ‘Katti Batti‘.
