Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster officially appeared before the public as a couple. The couple were spotted holding hands on a cozy date night in Santa Monica. Their appearance comes amid reports of a budding romance that began during their Broadway run and followed their recent splits.

For their stylish, PDA-filled first date, Jackman wore a sleek gray jacket paired with white jeans, while Foster wowed in a chic brown trench coat layered over an olive green dress and accessorized with black heels. In photos shared by Deuxmoi, the lovebirds were seen strolling around Santa Monica, California.

An eyewitness told PageSix that Jackman, 56, and Sutton Foster were spotted “walking hand in hand” on Monday when a photographer suddenly appeared, snapped a few photos and quickly left.
Back in November, a source told the Daily Mail that Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness had “her suspicions” about the couple’s intimacy while they were filming on Broadway.

The recent appearance comes just over a year after Jackman split from his wife of nearly 30 years, actor and producer Deborra-Lee Furness. The couple, who have two adopted children, Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, announced their separation in a heartfelt joint statement in September 2023.

According to PageSix, Jackman showed his support for Foster over the weekend by attending her performance in the Broadway musical Once Upon a Mattress in Los Angeles.
Back in October, Sutton Foster filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin, ending their nearly decade-long marriage. The couple, who married in 2014 and have an adopted child, sparked rumors of trouble during Foster’s Broadway performance in The Music Man opposite Hugh Jackman.
Several sources have since claimed that Foster and Jackman are planning a future together, although they have kept their romance under wraps. Meanwhile, Jackman announced his split from Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023, ending their 27-year marriage.
