Bollywood star Sunil Shetty’s son-in-law KL Rahul’s tweet praising his performance against Pakistan in the Asia Cup went viral on social media.

KL Rahul, who played an unbeaten innings of 111 runs off 106 balls against Pakistan in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup, scored a century on his return from injury.

KL Rahul was out of the team due to injury and out of form for the past several years, but on his century against Pakistan, his father-in-law Sunil Shetty gave a message which went viral on social media.

Sunil Shetty termed Rahul’s performance as outstanding and wrote, “It’s a triumphant comeback, for which there is little to thank, thank God for empowering all the efforts”.

On the other hand, actress Athiya Shetty, wife of Rahul and daughter of Sunil Shetty, also released a message for her husband and wrote that ‘even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise’.

It should be noted that India defeated Pakistan by a huge margin of 228 runs in the important match of the Super Four stage.
