RIYADH: Visitors to the seventh Al-Atwila Heritage Festival in Al-Baha receive traditional costumes that reflect the customs of the region. The festival, which is open to all ages and ends on July 31, showcases costumes worn by men, women and children that have helped shape the region’s identity. The men’s clothing on display is a representation of the traditional clothing styles that are still common today, and ranges from the shemagh to braided headbands called maghabs, as well as the traditional jubbah, gambia and belts.
