Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar were seen together again after 20 years in Welcome to the Jungle. He claims that they have achieved “maximum hits” together.

In a recent interview, Akshay Kumar discussed his upcoming reunion with Raveena Tandon. Akshay told news agency ANI that he is excited to work with Will Smith again in the next film Welcome to the Jungle.

“We are doing a film called ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and we will start production on it soon,” Akshay told the media outlet. That tune with Tip Tip Barsa Paani is fantastic. We have worked together in many blockbuster films and I can’t wait to get back in front of the camera for Welcome to the Jungle.

Akshay and Raveena’s chemistry

Akshay and Raveena’s on-screen chemistry has worked in many blockbuster films. Former on-screen couple Akshay and Raveena can also be heard singing the hit songs “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” and “Tip Tip Barsa Paani” together. They were last seen together in the 2004 film Police Force: An Inside Story.

The couple began dating in 1995 and became engaged in the late 1990s. They later ended their relationship due to unknown reasons. In 2001, Akshay started dating and eventually married Twinkle Khanna, while Raveena married Anil Thadani, a businessman, in 2004.

When asked about the failed engagement by ANI earlier this year, Raveena said, “We were a hit couple during Mohra, and even today, when we meet each other socially, everyone , let’s talk. As time passes, everyone changes. Even though college women are changing boyfriends every week, my recent failed engagement sticks in my mind for some reason. “People get divorced, get up and move on, so what’s the big deal?”

Akshay’s latest movies

Apart from Welcome to the Jungle, Akshay has a list of interesting films, which also includes the currently ongoing Mission Raniganj. He will return to play a top cop in the second installment of Rohit Shetty’s successful franchise. The film is titled Singham Again, and it features her cameo as Suryavanshi. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan, while Ranveer Singh makes a cameo as Simba.

He is also working on the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru. The release date of the film has been fixed for February 2024. He will also co-star with Tiger Shroff in the upcoming film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Additionally, the production of the second installment of his successful comedy series, Housefull has begun. Recently Akshay revealed that he will make a film on India’s bombing of Pakistan. Sky Force is the directorial debut of Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapoor.
