The actress shared some personal anecdotes in her first interview with The Quint, which was conducted to promote the Disney picture Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The actress provided the Hindi voiceover for the film’s eponymous character. Aishwarya was questioned about how her daughter Aaradhya goes to school like a regular student despite her frequent foreign travel schedules. Aishwarya reacted to this by revealing how as a mother she prepares for her weekend trips and how she is well aware of the flight timings to reduce her daughter’s jet lag. He said:
“Planning, planning. time management. A lot of my travel commitments, if people focused a little more and paid attention to the little things, happen mostly on weekends. And I have done that since the initial set. I think I’m a pretty good flight manager now. Anyone can ask me anything about all types of flight times. I remember sometimes AB would pass by and say, what is this? I like flights. He’ll be like yes, just book it now, just say… I’m like no, I’ll know the time difference between take off, landing, transit period, that time there. I must have calculated everything, so that the travel time would be reasonable. I mean, I’ve been to a few countries and come back and I can work without any jet lag and be back to school on Monday morning.

I think it was very important and Aishwarya handled it so beautifully that it did not become a big deal for her that both her grandparents are from the film world and both your parents are from the film world. We didn’t make it a ‘big thing’. It was very normal.”
