The film has managed to gain immense popularity worldwide even before its release due to its trend, cast and release with Christopher Nolan’s film ‘Oppenheimer’.
The main cast of Barbie includes Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Greta Gerwig, Will Ferrell, Emma McKay and Simon Liu. Barbie is directed by Greta Gerwig.
The story of the film revolves around Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) living in ‘Barbie World’ who come to the world outside their Barbie world and discover the joys and dangers among humans.
The film has received extraordinary popularity even before its release due to the roles of Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, after which fans of the film in cinemas around the world dressed in pink Barbie costumes.
On the other hand, due to the simultaneous release of Barbie and Oppenheimer, moviegoers have coined the new term ‘Barbenheimer’.

It should be noted here that the screening of the film Barbie has been banned in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Barbie has been banned in Punjab due to the film’s homophobic elements.
