‘Mission Impossible, Dead Reckoning Part One’, the seventh film of Hollywood’s famous action thriller film franchise ‘Mission Impossible’, has been released in India and USA including UAE.
The Tom Cruise starrer is getting a good response from the audience while reading positive reviews about it on the internet.
Entertainment website ‘Pinkvilla’ in its review of the film took an interesting approach and wrote that ‘Dear Box Office, Tom Cruise has come to your rescue with his superb cinematography.’
On the other hand, after the release of Tom Cruise’s film ‘Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One’ in the Gulf countries from Thursday, the team of Arab News has spoken to the director and cast of the film.
Some scenes of the film were shot in the capital city of Abu Dhabi, in the Lewa Desert and Midfield Terminal Airport, with the cast and crew shooting in Abu Dhabi for two weeks in 2021.
Mission Impossible was shot in Abu Dhabi with the help of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and other local production partners.
Christopher McQuarrie, director of Mission Impossible, told Arab News, “We had shot in Abu Dhabi before. We shot the skydiving scenes for ‘Fallout’ and ‘Ghost Protocol’ in the UAE, so it was a familiar environment for us.’

British actor Simon Pegg, who is part of the film’s main cast, says: ‘I was running through the baggage compartment of the new Abu Dhabi airport, which was part of the big conveyor belts and stairs. I’ve never had more respect for baggage handlers.’
In June of this year, when Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One premiered in Abu Dhabi, Tom Cruise told Arab News, “This is the biggest story we’re ever going to tell people.”
Director Christopher McQuarrie adds, ‘I’ve always been learning something from Tom Cruise or working with him. If they’ve taught me one thing, it’s that you can do more. You can go further. There is no limit to going forward.’
Star actress Hayley Atwell, who is part of the main cast, says, ‘This film is true to its structure and potential, which I think the audience will definitely understand when they watch the film. They will realize how much fun it was to make this film.’
