The year 2023 has been a good year for Bollywood compared to the last few years.

Many movies released this year so far have done great business at the box office, while the good news for Hindi movie fans is that some more big movies are set to release in 2023.

Let’s know which are the five big upcoming films of Bollywood this year.

Young

‘Jawan’ will be Shah Rukh Khan’s second film to release in 2023.

The trailer of this film will be released on July 12.

Jawaan stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role while South Indian actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara also play the lead roles on the big screen.

Jaawan is an action-thriller film whose teaser was released last year.

Jaawan is directed by South Indian director Atlee Kumar. The film will be released in theaters across the world including India on September 7.

Animal

Animal is being counted among the few upcoming big films of Bollywood.

Animal is a Ranbir Kapoor film whose first teaser was released on June 11 by T-Series on its YouTube channel.

In the teaser of Animal, people wearing golden masks can be seen carrying axes. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor enters and then there is a lot of action between him and the masked men.

Directed by Sandeep Vanga, the film will hit the theaters on December 1.

The love story of Rocky and Rani

Director Karan Johar is returning to the big screen after seven years with his new film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.

The trailer of Rocky and Rani’s love story full of romance, comedy and emotions has been released on Tuesday.

The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles while the cast also includes Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.

The trailer of the film is over three minutes long and starts with Alia Bhatt (Rani Chatterjee) and Ranveer Singh (Rocky Randhawa) having an argument after a car accident, but the two later become friends. Turns into an affair.

Rocky and Rani decide to spend three months at each other’s houses before getting married where they face many difficulties.

Dinky

Dinky will be Shah Rukh Khan’s third film released this year.

The film is based on the theme of going abroad illegally i.e. Dinky.

Taapsee Pannu will appear in the lead cast with Shahrukh Khan in this film.

Dinky will release on December 22.

This will be Shahrukh Khan’s first film with director Rajkumar Hirani.

Ghadar 2

Ghadar 2 is another big Hindi movie released this year.

The film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film Ghadar, Ek Prem Katha.

The teaser of Ghadar 2 was released on June 12, according to which the film shows the backdrop of the year 1971 in the Pakistani city of Lahore where anti-India protests are going on.

During these protests, Sunny Deol (Tara Singh) gets down from the bus and confronts the protesters.

Released on August 11, the film stars Amisha Patel in the lead role alongside Sunny Deol while the cast includes Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra and Luv Sinha.

Anil Sharma, who directed Ghadar Ek Prem Katha 22 years ago, has directed Ghadar Two.
