Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has revealed that his first wife died during the birth of their daughter.

According to Hindustan Times, Rajpal Yadav is remembered in Bollywood for his comic roles, but the actor has also seen some sad incidents in his life. In an interview, he has revealed that his first wife died when he was 20 years old.

The actor has completed 25 years in the industry.

Talking about his career, Rajpal Yadav had said that he never turned down roles due to short screen time.

Talking about his wife’s death, he told ‘The Linen Top’ that ‘It was a time when if someone had a job in their 20s, people would tell them to get married. So my father got me married, my first wife died giving birth to a daughter. I was supposed to meet my wife the day after my daughter was born, but I carried her dead body on my shoulders the next day. But thanks to my family and my sister-in-law, my daughter never felt that she didn’t have a mother. She has grown up very pampered.’

In the same interview, the actor talked about his second wife Radha Yadav, whom he married in 2003.

He said that his second wife has supported him a lot in his life.

He says, ‘I never told my wife to wear a saree or anything else, like I talk to my mother, my wife also talks to her like that. He has also learned our language. Once we went to the village, I saw her sitting with her face covered, because that’s how women live in the village.’

The actor adds, ‘When she goes to the village during Holi and Diwali, no one knows that she speaks five languages. After my teacher and my parents, if anyone has supported me, it is my wife. Radha has also brought up my daughter, she (daughter) is now in Lucknow, married but all the credit goes to my family and wife.’
