The newly released Bollywood film ‘Aadipursh’ has broken the record of this year’s all-time blockbuster film ‘Pathan’.

According to Hindustan Times, it looks like ‘Aadi Purush’ is going to be the big hit of this year.

On the second day of its release i.e. Saturday, the film has earned Rs 100 crore from worldwide, after which the total income of the film has increased to Rs 240 crore.

In comparison, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan earned Rs 219 crore in the first two days of its release.

According to a recent tweet by box office analyst Sumit Kadel, the film has easily earned Rs 200 crores.

“Official, with a bumper opening on the first day, Adi Purush has established itself and has collected Rs 240 crores at the worldwide box office in two days,” Sumeet Kadel tweeted.

On the other hand, after the release of Aadi Purush, it is being severely criticized by political and social circles.

The film is produced by the famous music company ‘T Series’ while it is directed by Om Raut.

The story of Adi Purusha revolves around Ramayana, the historical epic of Hindu religion.

The film stars Prabhas as ‘Ram’, Kriti Sanon as ‘Sita’ and Saif Ali Khan as ‘Raavan’.

The film, which was released in 3D on Friday, has been facing serious controversy due to its informal language. The film’s Hindi dialogue writer Manoj Nishar has issued a statement on Sunday that the makers of the film have decided to change some dialogues and the changed dialogues will be included in the film this week itself.

On the other hand, the political party Aam Aadmi Party has expressed reservations over certain dialogues and scenes of the film, alleging that it has hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of allowing the film to be made to gloss over dirty politics.
