Rhea first stepped into the world of glitzy glamor as a VJ on MTV India and then paved her way to becoming a film actress. She was born on 1 July 1992 in Ambala, Haryana. Rhea Chakraborty was a contestant on the TVS Scooty Teen Diva show aired on MTV India in 2009. He became the winner for this show. After that, Rhea was screen tested for the VJ spot.

Many rumors said that Rhea is modeling for one of the famous New York brands called Exquisite Hookah. ‘Pepsi MTV Wassup’ and ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’ are two television shows anchored by Rhea Chakraborty. Along with Ayushmann Khurrana, Rhea has hosted many other MTV shows including ‘Fantastic Five’ and ‘TikTak College Beat Teachers’ Ekanon Party’. Rhea became the latest famous face after hosting various television shows. She made her debut in the Telugu film industry in the year 2012 with the movie ‘Toneaga Tonega’. Talking about her Bollywood debut, Rhea first appeared on the silver screen in 2013 in the film ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ opposite Saqib Saleem. The film was produced by Y Films, a subsidiary of Yash Raj Films.
