Shreyas Talpade, 47, collapsed due to heart attack at his home after completing his shoot in Mumbai on Thursday evening.

New Delhi: Famous actor Shreyas Talpade underwent emergency angioplasty surgery at a hospital in Mumbai after suffering a heart attack after completing the shooting of the Bollywood movie ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, which will be released on Thursday evening.

According to the information obtained, 47-year-old Talpade fainted due to a heart attack at his home after completing the shooting in Mumbai. Reports stated that Shreyas was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, where he underwent an angioplasty.

Quoting an unnamed source close to the actor, Hindustan Times (HT) reported that Talpade was in good condition during the shoot and the shooting took place throughout the day.

“He was definitely in good spirits, joking around with everyone on set. “We even shot some action scenes during the day’s shooting schedule,” he said.

However, the source said that the actor felt anxious when he arrived home after the shooting and was taken to the hospital by his wife, but he collapsed on the way.

Bellevue Hospital doctors said Shreyas Talpade was admitted to the facility in the evening and underwent angioplasty surgery after suffering a heart attack. However, an improvement is expected regarding the player’s health condition.

Shreyas Talpade is a critically acclaimed actor who is known for playing various roles ranging from comedy to drama in Hindi and Marathi cinema. During his career spanning nearly two decades, he has appeared in over 45 films, including the highly successful TV series Golmaal.

Talpade was shooting for Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, which is the next film in the Welcome film series. The film also stars Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev and singer-brothers Daler .
