California: Elon Musk, the head of social networking platform X (formerly Twitter), has announced the introduction of video and audio calling features.
The new features will not require users to have a phone number and will be available on Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android and personal computers, according to a post by X chief on Thursday.

However, no launch date has been announced by them.
After Twitter’s rebranding as X, Elon Musk hinted at turning the platform into a super app, offering a range of services from messaging to direct money transfers.
Elon Musk is also working on changes to how news links appear on the platform, which could affect the reach of news organizations.
