The Pakistanis were shaken up from the heartbreak of losing a potentially winning match against India, but cricketer Umar Akumal seemed busy trying to make points. Taking on Facebook, Hercules silences the other side and hatred with some images, frankly, worthy of a partial nudity trigger warning, at least in his own reality.
“Please be careful,” Akmal wrote in a post he shared that he had been awake for at least 40 minutes. “This is for those who I think aren’t suited,” he added, along with a series of photos of him basking in his glory.
The image in question is really a different one. For one thing, Akumal stands with his hands behind his head, sillying to show a mixture of determination and seduction. There’s no way to be sure. In another image, the cricketer looks into the distance as he poses for the camera, his hands firmly rest on his waist, as if seeking praise.
The comment section of the post is a maze of entertainment. First of all, they struggle to distinguish between those offering authentic admiration from those trying to hold back Akumal.
“Better fitness than Babar,” one worshiper says, screaming at the King of Pakistan’s cricket in the process. Another comment looks at Ronaldo in Akumal Pakistan, despite the lack of cricket and football in common. “Better than the entire Pakistani squad,” says a fan of the Green male coat of arms. One comment shocks me that “Umar Bai holds his breath for the photo”, but once you see it, it’s not invisible.
Akmal’s dedication to fitness is certainly a considerable move. But what was his decision to prove his points by posting pictures of his shirtless sunbathed body? Perhaps that falls in the realm of doubt, but who should in fact say it for sure?
