China is intensifying efforts to reduce pollution emissions to effectively eliminate severe air pollution by 2025.
The Department of Atmospheric Environment Director and Senior Environmental Official Lee Tynewi said China would improve harmful PM 2.5 particles and ozone pollution, while improving the air quality prediction and Early Warning system.
According to a transcript released on the website of the Ministry of Equality and Environment, Lee said that the war for blue heavens will not change.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said that although the matter has improved, air pollution is a major problem in China and is affecting the economy and the quality of life of the people.
According to the organization, air pollution causes nearly two million people in China every year.
