No one is absolutely surprised, but we sometimes report on some gorgeous wedding celebrations that lasted longer than some marriages. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant once again attracted attention with their second wedding celebration on a gorgeous cruise.
Following the first festival in Jamunagar, the couple chose Europe for this epic event, offering the opportunity for families from around the world to participate in the celebration. In an exclusive interview with Vogue, Radhika shared intricate details of the four-day event, accompanied by stunning photos.
Radhika said the celebration is a setback for those who have contributed significantly to their lives. The cruise festival began on the first day with an event themed around the starry sky. Radica wore an exquisite gown designed by Robert Un and was decorated with a love letter written by Anant when she was 22 years old.
On the second day we saw guests exploring the historic Roman city. The Toga Party was then hosted on the cruise deck. On this occasion, Radica featured a custom toga by New York-based designer Grace Lynn, featuring an aerospace aluminium breastplate. This unique outfit exemplified her modern yet classic style.
On the third day, the celebration moved to Cannes, where they sought a charming masquerade ball at the Chateau des La Croix des Gade. Radica was surprised by the custom Versace dress. A blue shade that reflects the fascinating waters of the Côte d’Azur. The evening’s entertainment includes a performance by pop sensation Katy Perry, adding a touch of star-studded charm to the event.
Portofino’s final night was a festive picture-perfect conclusion. The main square of this charming Italian village transformed into an outdoor market with lively food stalls, creating a festive atmosphere. Radica wore a rare archive piece by Eve St. Laurent for Dior, a dress that was ingrained in fashion history. The night reached the zenith with a captivating performance by legendary Italian tenor Andrea Boqueri.
The celebration featured notable attendees such as Ananya Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Charisma Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Puneet Malhotra, Oli and Janvi Kapoor.
Following this epic wedding celebration, Radhika and Anant Ambani will be observing multiple Pujas and traditional sunjet ceremonies over the coming weeks. The couple is scheduled to tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12, 2024, marking the pinnacle of a gorgeous and heartfelt wedding festivities.
