HBL PSL 8: List of foreign players in gold category continues
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the list of international players eligible for selection in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League Gold Category (PSL) draft.
In the list released by the PCB, Zimbabwe captain Craig Irwin, Ireland captain Andy Balburnie, Australian hard hitter Ben Dunk and Sri Lankan star Dinesh Chandimal have been included in the gold category for the eighth session.
Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran, South Africa captain Temba Bawama and England cricketer Joe Denly have all made it to the gold category. Other prominent names include Liton Das, Sheldon Cottrell, Zahir Khan, Shaun Williams, Shamra Brooks, Jordan Clarke, Jack Ball, Dom Bess, and many other international cricketers.

The draft for the 2023 edition will be held on December 15 in Karachi, and the tournament will be held between February 9 and March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Speaking to the media, tournament director Usman Wahla said that cricket fans around the world will see famous players in the upcoming season of franchise cricket.

Last week it was revealed that the opening ceremony of the eighth session will be held in Multan while the final match, comprising all the play-off matches, will be held in Lahore.
