Fiverr is a freelancing platform that offers anyone to come to Fiverr and sell their skills. Every day thousands of freelancers visit Fiverr and create their account on Fiverr.

But only few of them may appear on Fiverr search results. And even most of them are not visible once to anyone visiting the Fiverr website.

It is only due to lack of knowledge and there is no proper fifth position which is the first and foremost thing for every freelancer. They don’t know how to create a Fiverr account like the pros and don’t know how to optimize their accounts for the Fiverr algorithm.

To help you create a Fiverr account, I’m going to share 6 steps that will help you overcome this initial account problem. All these measures are selected covering all the important aspects required by the account. So let’s begin;

1. Creating a Fiverr Account:

First go to Fiverr.com website from your computer or laptop. Now take a look at the menu in the top right corner. Here you will see the Join button where you can create a Fiverr account.

But to make this guide more clear and concise I’m going to use the signup with email method. To get started, click the Email box and type your email address and click Continue.

If you don’t have an email address, you can get free email from Gmail. It only takes a few minutes to set up your mail and it’s a Google product. So you don’t need to worry about it.

As soon as you click on the continue button, it will show you another popup on your screen. Here first you have to choose your username and password. If you are creating your account for a specific location, you can choose a specific domain name. Because it will help your profile rank higher whenever some kind of niche keyword.

For example; In this case, I’m going to write field so I can choose a username like; Mohsin Author, Save Writer, etc

Choose a strong password:

Now the second thing is to choose a password for your account which will help you to login to your account. Your password should be unique and strong enough that no one can crack it. Make sure your password is a combination of letters, words, and characters.

For example; Instead of using a password like this “abcxyz”, you can go to abc@123#.

If, like me, you have trouble creating and recalling them in your mind. Then, I recommend using Dashlane Password Manager to sue.
This will help you to create and save your own password and you will not need to remember any password. It automatically puts the password in the field whenever you only need the password for that website.

After choosing your password, just click on the green Join button. And you will be redirected to your Fiverr account. That’s it, you’ve created your account…

Now go to your email that you typed while creating your account. Here you see a mail you received from Fiverr. As soon as you open this mail, you will see an account activation button. All you have to do is click the button and your account will be verified within seconds. And your account is ready to use.

2. Setup profile picture:

At this stage, you will have a verified Fiverr account that is yours. Now, let’s proceed with the steps of choosing a profile picture. This is the most important step in account creation as it helps you gain customer trust.

Here are some steps to choose a profile picture.

•     High quality and unique
•     Similar and clear face
•     Use your own photo.
•     Solid picture background

After finalizing your profile picture, go to your Fiverr account and in the top left corner, you will see a gray area for the picture. You have to click on it and it will open a popup from which you can select an image from your computer. Along with this, you have to add a catchy line as the account bio. 

3. Write the profile description:

A powerful and to-the-point profile description can turn out better than a random one. So you have to include powerful descriptions with eye-catching words and phrases. This will help you gain customer trust and conversions.

4. Add skills and language:

To add any language, just click Add New Text in the Language section and add your skill level. Then hit the Add button and you’re good to go.

5. Link Social Accounts:

Now is the time to show your customer that there is a person behind this account. This step is also important in terms of Fiverr SEO, as well as potential buyer trust. So we have to make this step more efficient.

One more thing, any social accounts that link to Fiverr will not be available to your customer. He can only see a small icon of the linked account. To link a social account, you need to scroll down to the top of the Skills section, you will find the Linked Account section.

 

All you have to do is click on the account you want to link to your account. This will open a popup that will take you to this website. Here you have to login with your account and it will automatically verify your account.

6. Add Education and Certificates:

The final step is to add your education and certifications to the skills you are offering to your buyer. Although, this step is not very important in getting orders from your customers. But it will help you explain yourself to your buyer and Fiverr too.

To add an education, scroll to the bottom of the page from your profile page. Here you will see a section mentioned with education. You just need to click on add new and add all the details about your education and press save button.

Apply the same procedure as we did in the Education section to add your certificate. Just click Add New Text on the Certificate section, add your details and hit the Save button. You can also add an award that is in a relevant location.
